I was back in Philadelphia for a couple of weeks this past August. I got to shoot at the Electric Factory again. They always have great bands play. This time Failure and HUM was in town. I know I say this a lot, but the show was really amazing. This was the first time I got to see Failure. The visuals were very stunning.

So I was a HUGE (and I mean HUGE) Hum fan back in the day. Before Hum there was Hancho Overload. A band of which I was a huge fan. Many of the members of HO went on to form Hum. This is the 90’s I remembered very fondly. Check out this video:

Classic. Anyhooo, the last time I saw Hum was when they opened for the Flaming Lips on New Years Eve 2001. At the Metro in Chicago. Of course they played the theme from 2001 A Space Odyssey. What a night. It took me 3 days to wash the confetti out of my hair.
