I am excited to show off my new tear sheet for Orange Coast Magazine. I shot Caroline Fitzgerald for the opening of the July issue. The issue is on stands right now. Caroline is Community Coordinator for WAKA (The World Adult Kickball Association).Caroline was a blast to work with. She only kicked the ball in at my face once. No bruises or lasting marks thank god lol. That seriously happened and it was hilarious. I even have a shot of the ball as it is flying at my face. I will add that to this post very soon.
Anyhooo, thanks to everyone at OCM for making thais happen. It was such a fun shoot and a great reason to head to Orange County for the afternoon.
UPDATE: Read the online article HERE.
Here’s an excerpt:
Since its formation in 1998, the World Adult Kickball Association (now known as WAKA Kickball & Social Sports) has grown into a nationwide community. Members play weekly on teams with names such as Netkicks and Chill. Fitzgerald works part-time as a community coordinator for the organization. She runs the Fullerton and Huntington Beach leagues. Irvine, Costa Mesa, and Lake Forest have leagues as well. When the Huntington Beach resident isn’t playing, she’s singing karaoke with teammates at one of the leagues’ sponsor bars.
